Do you know what the members of our West County area Democratic clubs hear over and over again when we are out participating in community events, volunteering outside polling places, making calls to spread the word about upcoming elections, and knocking doors to talk to voters in our neighborhood? “I thought I was the only Democrat in West County.”
We can tell you, you’re not! There are thousands of Democratic voters in West St. Louis County. In fact, in some West County districts, we’ve succeeded in electing Democrats to the Missouri State Legislature. And in some of our State House and State Senate districts, the split between Democratic and Republican voters is so close, your vote could be the deciding vote in holding a recently won Democratic seat or flipping a Republican-held seat to a Democratic seat.
There are actually so many Democratic voters in West St. Louis County that we have not just one, but several active Democratic clubs serving our region! Join one (or more!) of these clubs and meet like-minded voters who are actively working to make a difference in our community. You do not have to live in a specific municipality or township to become a member of these clubs. Pick the meeting time and location that work best for you.
Queeny-Lafayette Democratic Club: Serving the communities of Queeny Township and Lafayette Township, the Queeny-Lafayette Democratic Club meets monthly on fourth Thursdays at 7:30 pm at Dayspring Baptist Church in Town and Country. Missouri River Democratic Club: Serving the communities of Missouri River Township, the Missouri River Democratic Club meets monthly on fourth Thursdays at 7:30 pm at Dayspring Baptist Church in Town and Country. Missouri River meets jointly with the Queeny-Lafayette Democratic Club.
Creve Coeur Democratic Club: Serving the communities of Creve Coeur Township, the Creve Coeur Township Democratic Club meets virtually on Zoom on third Mondays at 7 pm. Email cctownshipdems@gmail.com for meeting info and the Zoom link.
Chesterfield Democratic Club: Serving the communities of Chesterfield Township, the Missouri Chesterfield Township Democrats meet on fourth Wednesdays at 7 pm at the Manchester Justice Center, 200 Highlands Blvd Dr, Manchester, MO 63011.
